A LXP platform at the heart of business challenges

VTS Perform was developed to offer organisations that do not have an LMS or that want to adopt a new one, a platform dedicated to the administration and storage of all training activities and to the provision of educational content to learners. This operation, which is specific to LMSs, focuses above all on the managerial side of digital training by placing the administrators alone at the heart of their operation and enrichment. So what about the Learner Experience when using such platforms?

Encouraging learner engagement even during simple use is the challenge that our teams of training professionals take to heart. This is why, on the occasion of the release of version 6.0 of the VTS solution, the experts at Serious Factory have redesigned VTS Perform as the Learning Experience Platform. This component of the VTS suite is now fully focused on the following engagement levers:
– The integration of the experiential into training courses thanks to training simulations and immersive Serious Games that can be created with VTS Editor.
– The gamification of the learning path and the enchantment of the notion of progression in order to create a real feeling of gratification.
– The enhancement of the notion of collaboration around the increase in skills.

In addition, the LXP aims to meet the Learner Centric and deployment needs of organisations, whatever the sector of activity.

From the designer and administrator’s point of view, VTS Perform allows you to import your desired users, to easily create training sessions and activities thanks to a clear and instinctive UI and to deploy everything on any type of platform (iOs, Android, tablet, PC, Mac). Finally, the presence of a complete Learning Analytics system allows for a detailed analysis of the progress of each learner, for effective and personalised remediation.

For their part, learners have access to all the educational content made available by the organisation. They can navigate easily via an interactive and simplified interface and can have other content suggested to them in accordance with their needs and those they consult. In addition, they can have all their educational activities centralised, so that they can train and improve at any time.

Rich multi-activity management

Novelty in this update of the platform, multi-activity management allows the session administrator to provide learners with new resources to accompany their use of the simulations.
The new types of activities available are :
– SCORM modules (2004 and 1.2, designed outside VTS Editor)
– Videos
– PDFs
– External links

The addition of multi-activity management has been added to meet the growing need of VTS Perform users to vary the materials offered, in order to engage learners effectively over time. The additional use of these activities can allow you, for example, to add video tutorials to your courses and then measure the acquisition of learner-users’ skills via games (Quiz, Drag & Drop, etc.) designed on VTS Editor coupled with the LXP Learning Analytics system.

New activities can be added via the “Resources” tab as a resource for a course or session. These resources can also be unlocked conditionally (case by case).
In addition, each activity and course now has a duration which is given as a guide for learners.

An improved learner view

VTS Perform also changes on the learner side. Indeed, the configuration of the appearance of the learner view for each instance of VTS Perform is now available. This allows you to add a logo, a horizontal or vertical wallpaper and colours to the user interface, for a 100% personalised learner experience!
Thus, the learner’s view is modernised to be more engaging, inspired by the biggest VOD platforms. Focus on the Learner Experience with these new features, we take care of yours!
