Tutoring
« Back to Glossary Index

Tutoring is often considered to be a formative action. In this concept, a competent and seasoned employee, and therefore an expert in his or her profession, is mobilised. He will then coach another employee in a given work situation. It should be noted that the employee who is supervising is called a tutor, while the employee being supervised is known as the tutored employee. Thus, the latter is supported by the tutor in setting up new procedures. This is of course done after a training course. It is also good to know that this concept is economical for any company.
