    Courseware is an essential element in the field of digital learning. In fact, it is educational software for CAI or computer-assisted instruction. It is therefore an interactive computer programme dedicated to learning knowledge. It concerns a given field or theme. Moreover, it usually includes a self-checking of knowledge. It should be noted that the DGLF recommends the use of the term ‘educational software’ instead of courseware. In addition, it is also good to know that this term can refer to a document used to train people to use a given software. In this case, it is referred to as a tutorial.
