Screencast
« Back to Glossary Index

A screencast can be defined as a technique for filming a computer screen directly. There is even a visualisation of the paths to be taken. To do this, mouse movements are used to offer a tutorial. In short, it is a demonstration of the use of a digital tool. Thanks to this concept, any individual can share his screen with other people to show them how a given software works, for example. They can also use it to provide training. This is why Screencasting is considered an important element of digital learning.
