Reverse Pedagogy
« Back to Glossary Index

Reverse pedagogy or flipped learning allows any learner to become familiar with the various theoretical contents at a distance. This familiarisation takes place well before the actual training course takes place. The co-construction of knowledge then takes up all the time intended for face-to-face training. In short, it is dedicated to exercises, role-playing, support for learners in difficulty and peer interaction. This is often a mixed type of training. The trainer or teacher does not occupy the same position as in traditional training courses.
