Reverse class
« Back to Glossary Index

Refocusing teaching and learning around the pupil is the aim of the reverse class. The principle is simple: pupils do in the classroom the work they would do at home in the traditional learning mode, hence the term “reverse class”. To do this, the apprentices receive lessons in the form of digital content. Most of the time, these are videos that the pupils watch at home.
The reverse class has several advantages, such as the possibility for the teacher to integrate other, more enriching activities. There is also the encouragement of exchanges, which is an important point for getting to know the functioning of each pupil.
