Professional Didactics
« Back to Glossary Index

The aim of vocational didactics is to analyse work in order to develop professional skills. It emerged in France in the 1990s, at the confluence of three theoretical currents and a field of practice. In short, therefore, there are three founding pillars of professional didactics, namely didactics, ergonomics and developmental psychology. It should be noted that at the beginning, it was more interested in work in an industrial environment. But nowadays, it extends to the various service and teaching activities. It is also good to know that work analysis has a dual role. It is indispensable to the construction of training and is a learning tool.
