Pedagogical engineering
« Back to Glossary Index

Pedagogical engineering is one of the stages of training engineering. It encompasses all the steps involved in choosing and analysing the teaching methods to be used. It also includes the development of the pedagogical solution. This can be digital with a MOOC, among others. But it can also be more traditional, such as training carried out at a given workplace. To put it simply, pedagogical engineering therefore refers to a discipline consisting of the study, design, implementation and adaptation of teaching systems, courses or training. It should be emphasised that this is the work of the educational engineer.
