Off-the-shelf courses
« Back to Glossary Index

Off-the-shelf courses cover specific topics, such as language, management or office automation training. These courses are then developed in a generic way. They are offered as e-learning courses to learners from different backgrounds. These learners may or may not be employees. It should not be forgotten that digital learning generally offers the possibility of adapting as much as possible to the needs of any company, which requires customised content scripting, hence the importance of off-the-shelf courses for the above-mentioned themes. However, it should be stressed that these courses can be personalised by the companies that design and market them.
