Marketplace
« Back to Glossary Index

The Marketplace can be defined as a commercial intermediation service. It should be noted that this service is regulated by a legal field. It involves not only banking transactions, but also payment services in return for an economic benefit or remuneration. More generally, we are not dealing with a single-seller e-commerce site at all, but rather a multi-seller one. In the beginning, the Marketplace focused more on BtoB than on the general public. At that time, it made it possible to respond to calls for tenders. But today, it has evolved and now extends to sales between private individuals or from professionals to private individuals.
