Learning Community Manager
« Back to Glossary Index

The learning community manager, known by the acronym LCM, is the person responsible for leading a community of learners. In the majority of cases, this community was created during the course of a training course. However, it is also possible that it has been set up within a company, and therefore on a more permanent basis. Examples include communities of local salespeople or managers, etc. The learning community manager takes on a number of tasks, such as the role of facilitator, for example. He or she helps to understand the educational content. They also encourage exchanges and provide a platform dedicated to training with additional content.
