Learning analytics or learning analyses can also be translated as ‘education analyses’ or ‘learning analytics’. They can be defined as a discipline devoted to the collection, measurement, analysis and reporting of data that is based on relevant data from different learners in the context of learning. The aim is to optimise and understand context and learning. It should be noted that several devices can be used to collect physical data. These include a microphone and a camera.
