Knowledge has several meanings, but is first of all defined by the assimilation of a fact, an idea, a sign to which the mind associates a meaning. Nevertheless, knowledge is distinct from knowledge, even though the two terms are often used in the same context. Knowledge can be categorised in two ways. On the one hand, there is explicit knowledge. This form translates into the conscious will to know. On the other hand, there is implicit knowledge, the assimilation of which has taken place without the person being aware of the acquisition process.
