Blended Learning
« Back to Glossary Index

Known in English as Blended Learning, Blended Learning is an approach that combines distance learning (reverse class, interactive multimedia content, etc.) and face-to-face training (working in sub-groups around a table, interaction with the trainer, etc.). The aim of this type of training is therefore to benefit from the advantages of distance learning and face-to-face training at the same time. By using these two modalities in complementarity, it is possible to reduce design costs and optimise the time spent away from the workplace within a training course.
